DAY 01 - DELHI
A North India Temple Tours representative will
guide you after your arrival in Delhi and take
you to a renowned hotel in the city wherein you
can just relax and prepare yourself for the long
voyage ahead.
DAY 02 - DELHI -
AJMER - PUSHKAR
Early next
morning, you are scheduled to board a train to
Ajmer. You will be served breakfast in the train
itself. Post your arrival in Ajmer, you will
drive for 11 kilometers to reach the religious
city of Pushkar, a Hindu pilgrim center. Pushkar
is world-renowned for its cattle festival or
Pushkar festival held during the months of
October and November. Drive to Ajmer to visit
the durgah of Khwaja Muin-ud-Din Chisti. Also
visit Akbar's Palace that changed the face of
India. It was the place where Jahangirgave
permission to Sir Thomas Roe of trade to East
India Company.
DAY 03 - AJMER -
UDAIPUR
We leave for
Udaipur, the most romantic city of Rajasthan.
Halt to visit temples of Eklingji and Nathdwara.
There are around 108 temples within the walls of
Eklingji. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
After lunch, visit the Sahelion ki Bari. Enjoy a
romantic sunset cruise on the picturesque
Pichhola Lake. Overnight at Udaipur.
DAY 04 - UDAIPUR
Today on your
North India Temple tour, visit the City Palace
of Udaipur. On your Udaipur sightseeing tour,
visit the Peacock Square and one of the finest
miniature painting schools. Here you can see
brilliant miniature paintings of famous
painters. After lunch, travel the Jagdish Temple
devoted to Lord Vishnu. After your sightseeing
tour of the most romantic city of Rajasthan,
return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 05 - UDAIPUR
- MOUNT ABU
Today we drive
to Mount Abu en route Ranakpur. It is an
important pilgrim site for Jain. Travel to the
Jain temple complex of Ranakpur that has 29
bastions and 1444 pillars. No two pillars are
alike in design. Reach Mount Abu where you will
visit the Delwara Jain temples belonging to the
11th century. Visit the Nakki Lake and watch a
beautiful sunset over the lake. Return to the
hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 06 - MOUNT
ABU - JODHPUR
We leave for
Jodhpur. Stroll through the spice market. Visit
the Mandore gardens and have a glance at several
cenotaphs. Visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace in
Jodhpur as you continue with your sightseeing
trip. Return to the hotel and spend rest of the
time at leisure. Overnight in the hotel of
Jodhpur.
DAY 07 - JODHPUR
- JAISALMER
Travel
Mehrangarh Fort Museum on your day 7 of tours to
North India Temples with Taj Hub. Have a glance
at an exotic collection of armory and paintings.
Enjoy a mesmerizing view of the city from the
fort. After lunch, embark you for desert journey
to reach Pokaran. Travel the fortress built in
the 15th century. Stroll through the colorful
bazaar of the village. Depart for Jaisalmer.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Watch a
breathtaking sunset view over the desert.
Overnight in the hotel of Jaisalmer.
DAY 08 -
JAISALMER
In the morning,
you will travel to the Jain temples located
within the Sonar Kila. Also see the Citadel's
palace where you can have a glimpse at the royal
collection of artifacts and weapons. Take a tour
to Patwaon ki Haveli that showcases exquisite
latticed work. Visit the picturesque Gadisar
Lake. Jaisalmer tour in Rajasthan is incomplete
without a visit to Sam dunes. From Sam or Khuri
village, you may ride a camel to experience
camel safari. See the nocturnal shades of the
sun while enjoying desert safari. Enjoy gala
dinner in the village and admire folk
performances of villagers. Drive back to
Jaisalmer.
DAY 09 -
JAISALMER - BIKANER
Depart from the
golden city. Upon arrival at Bikaner, visit the
Junagarh Fort. See the royal collection of
antiques, costumes, paintings and Jewellery that
date belonging to the 16th century. Also travel
the camel breeding farm. In the evening, you
will see the Durga Temple and the Laxmi mandir
to hear the chants of aarti. Overnight in the
hotel of Bikaner.
DAY 10 - BIKANER
- JAIPUR
Leave Bikaner
for Jaipur, the Pink City of the country. Halt
at Samode and visit the palace of the Maharaja
and local bazaar. Upon arrival at Jaipur, check
in at the hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.
DAY 11 - JAIPUR
In morning,
travel to the Amber/Amer Fort. Take an elephant
ride to reach the fort. Visit the 17th century
Shish Mahal that showcases a fine example of
Islamic and Hindu style. After lunch visit the
Jantar Mantar, which was built by Maharaja Jai
Singh II in 1727. This capital city is one of
the most favored tourist destinations in
Rajasthan. You will witness the royal past
during your Jaipur tour. Travel to the City
palace and see the fine collection of authentic
artifacts, armory and paintings at the museum.
Flip back the pages of royal era and have a peek
into the royal life of Maharajas of the
yesteryear.
DAY 12 - JAIPUR
- AGRA
After breakfast
depart from Jaipur to reach Agra en route
Fatehpur Sikri. This beautiful city was
established by Akbar in the mid 16th century.
Travel to the Jodhabai's Palace at this UNO's
World Heritage Site. After sightseeing, reach
Agra. Check in at the hotel and spend rest of
the day at leisure.
DAY 13 - AGRA
On day 13 of
your tour to North India Temples, you will see
the most beautiful symbol of love, Taj Mahal.
Built by Shah Jahan for his loving wife Mumtaz
Mahal, Taj Mahal Agra took 22 years for
completion. Thousands of people from across the
globe travel to India to see the beauty of Taj
Mahal. Characterized by domes, carved screens
and intricate craftsmanship, a visit to India is
incomplete without a visit to the Taj Mahal
Agra. Visit the Agra Fort, also known as the Red
Fort, built by Akbar. After having lunch, see
Itmad ud Daulah and the tomb of Akbar the Great.
DAY 14 - AGRA -
VRINDAVAN - MATHURA - AGRA
An excursion
from Agra to Mathura and Vrindavan will allow
you to feel the spiritual bliss. Mathura is the
birthplace of Lord Krishna. See the Krishna
Janambhoomi Temple. Also visit the mosque
constructed by Aurangzeb and the government
museum. After your Mathura tour, travel to
Vrindavan to see the evening aarti in the ISCON
temple. Drive back to Agra.
DAY 15 - AGRA -
VARANASI
On day 15 of
your North India Temple tours, you will leave
Agra for Varanasi. Catch a flight to Varanasi.
Once you set your foot in this sacred city,
travel to Sarnath and also visit the museum that
houses antiques of the 3rd century. Also see the
remnants of an ancient seat of education in
Sarnath.
DAY 16 -
VARANASI - HARIDWAR
On day 16 of
your North India Temple tour with Taj Hub, you
will board a boat early in the morning. See the
morning ablutions here on the banks of the holy
river Ganges. Your boat journey will starts from
Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat. Visit
the Gyanvyapi Kund, the mosque and the Kashi
Vishwanath Temple. Also travel the Banaras Hindu
University (BHU). Also visit the Vishwanath
temple here. You will be transferred to the
hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. You
will leave Varanasi to reach HARIDWAR by
overnight train.
DAY 17 -
HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH
In the morning,
take a tour of this beautiful temple town. Visit
Har ki Pauri, the venue for Mahakumbh Mela that
held after every 12 years. Visit the beautiful
and holy temples located close to the site along
the banks of the Ganga. Leave HARIDWAR for
Rishikesh. Have a glance at the Ram Jhula and
Laxman Jhula. Travel to the ashram on the banks
of the Ganges. After your holy tour, check in at
the hotel.
DAY 18 -
RISHIKESH - DELHI
Depart from
Rishikesh in the morning to reach the national
capital, Delhi, for lunch. After lunch, take a
sightseeing tour of Delhi. Travel to the Qutub
Minar and Humayun's Tomb. On your Delhi tour,
visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan and the India Gate.
Stroll through the narrow lanes of the old city.
For shopping, there is no better place then the
Chandni Chowk. The old walled city will
introduce you to the real India. Also visit
Rajghat and the Birla Mandir. Overnight at the
hotel in Delhi.
DAY 19 - DELHI -
AMRITSAR
Depart for
Amritsar early in the morning. On arrival, you
will be taken to the hotel where you can relax.
Visit the famous Golden Temple. It is an
important pilgrim site for the Sikhs. Also visit
the Jalianwallah Bagh and roll back the pages of
history when unarmed Indians were cruelly
slaughtered by the British during freedom
struggle. Spend rest of the day in leisure.
DAY 20 -
AMRITSAR - DELHI
On day 20 of
North India Temple tour with Taj Hub, you will
be transferred to the railway station to catch a
train to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be taken
to the hotel. Enjoy Light and Sound show at the
Purana Quila i.e. Old Fort. After a gala dinner,
you will be transferred to the airport to catch
a flight to your desired destination.
