DAY 01: ARRIVAL BODHGAYA
Welcome on arrival at Gaya Int'l Airport. Meet & assistance by AMETHYST TOURS representative. Then drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest for the day. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

DAY 02: BODHGAYA
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Mahabodhi Temple - It is the site where Prince Siddharth attained enlightment under a Bodhi Tree after years of search for the truth and knowledge. The Mahabodhi Temple at Bodhgaya is listed in the World Hertiage Site. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon Proceed for sightseeing visiting Niranjana River,Sujata Village, monasteries of various countries. Evening visit Mahabodhi Temple for prayer. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

DAY 03: BODHGAYA / NALANDA / RAJGIR / PATNA
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Patna en route sightseeing of Rajgir - earlier called Rajgriha, which means the 'Home of Royalty'. This place is significant because Buddha spent many years in Rajgir and also delivered some important discourses here. The places of visit are Gridhkut Hill , Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Venu Vana Vihar. Lunch will be at hotel/local resturant in Rajgir. After lunch proceed to Nalanda- The famous ancient university & a rich library established in 5th century AD. It is the first residential international university of the world with strength of 2,000 teachers and 10,000 monks' students from all over the Buddhist world. The places of visit are Nalanda University ruins archaeological complex,Nalanda archaeological museum. After sightseeing proceed to Patna. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Patna.

DAY 04: PATNA / VAISHALI / KUSHINAGAR
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Kushinagar en route sightseeing of Vaishali- the capital of Licchavis kings is the place where Buddha preached his last sermon & proclaimed of his Parinirvana. It was here 2nd Buddhist council held,after 100 years of Buddha death, which led to the division of Buddhist temple into Mahayana or progressives and Theravada or the orthoox. The places of visit are Ashok pillar & Shanti Stupa. After sightseeing proceed to Kushinagar. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Kushinagar.

DAY 05: KUSHINAGAR / SIDDHARTH NAGAR (LUMBINI)
Early wake up. After breakfast visit Mahaparinirvana Temple- lies behind the nirvana stupa is famous for an impressive reclining Nirvana statue of Lord Buddha, which is made of a single piece of a red sand stone. This 6.10 m long statue represents the "Mahaparinirvana" with Buddha reclining on his right side and his face towards the west. Next visit to Ramabhar Stupa - is also known as Mukutbandhan-Chaitya, the cremation place of Buddha. After sightseeing of Kushinagar proceed to Lumbini (in Nepal). On reaching first complete immeigration formalities then proceed to hotel & check-in. After lunch sightseeing of Lumbini visiting Sacred garden- where Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, which carry an inscription identifying the spot as the birth place of Buddha , Puskani Pond- is towards the south of the Ashokan Pillar. It is believed to be the sacred pool in which Maya Devi took a holy dip just before giving birth to Buddha Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Lumbini.

DAY 06: SIDDHARTH NAGAR (LUMBINI) / SRAVASTI
Early wake up. After breakfast proceed to Sravasti. On arrival check-in at hotel. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon tour of Sravasti - the capital of the Kosala kingdom during the Buddha's time. It was here Buddha spent 24 rainy season. Places of visit are Saheth - the architectural ruins of the Stupas or Buddhist temples and the Jetvana monastery are found here. This monastery was donated to him by Sudatta the richest merchant at the time. The Ananda Bodhi tree is located near the entrance of Jetavana. It was planted at the request of Anathapindika as an object for worship during the Buddha's absence from Sravasti. Gandhakuti (temple no.2) is the most sacred temple in Jetavana since the Buddha is believed to have lived at this spot. A little north of Sahet is the ancient fortified city of Mahet. The entrance to the mud fortification of Maheth is constructed in a beautiful crescent shape. Though an ancient structure,its five gates and walls are still visible. Pakki kuti,Kuchhi Kuti and many other stupas. Evening back to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Sravasti.

DAY 07: SRAVASTI / VARANASI (SARNATH)
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Varanasi. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Lunch at hotel. Day free at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 08: VARANASI / AGRA
Early wake up. Morning visit wonderful Ghats of Holy River Ganga (Banks of River Ganges), enjoy boat cruise with picturesque view of sunrise. Back to hotel. After breakfast sightseeing of Sarnath - an important site of the Buddhist Circuit. Buddha came to Sarnath soon after he attained enlightment. He delivered his first sermon to the five disciples in Sarnath. Emperor Ashoka visited Sarnath & erected a stupa here. The Places to visit in Sarnath are Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamek Stupa,Mulgandha Kuti Vihar,Sarnath Museum. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of some famous Hindu temples. Evening transfer to Railways Station for train to Agra. Pack dinner will be provided inside the train. Overnight on board.

DAY 09: AGRA / DELHI
One arrival transfer to hotel for wash & change (few rooms will be provided). Breakfast at hotel. Now visit one of the most beautiful monument in the world- "Taj Mahal". Also visit magnificent Agra Fort. After Lunch proceed to Delhi. On arrival transfer to nice city restaurant for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE DELHI
Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive pass old Delhi seeing wonderful view of Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Biggest mosque in India), Chandni Chowk Bazaar (oldest market of Delhi) & visit Rajghat (Mahatma Gandhi memorial). Lunch at nice city restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi visiting India Gate, drive pass President house & Parliament house & visit Lakshmi Narayan temple. Evening free for shopping. After Dinner at nice city restaurant timely transfer to Airport to board on flight for
onward destination.
